Graduate Landscape Architect (Full time position)


We are looking for a motivated and creative Graduate Landscape Architect to join our friendly and supportive practice based in Adlington, Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, public realm and healthcare.


You will be involved in projects from early concept through to delivery, contributing ideas, developing technical skills and gaining valuable experience across the full design process.


We are looking for candidates to ideally have a minimum one year of experience in practice and are ready to take the next step in your career within a supportive studio environment. Our experienced team will mentor you as you develop your technical expertise, creative skills and professional knowledge.


We actively support professional development and offer the opportunity to enrol on the Pathway to Chartership programme.


The Role:

  • Supporting the development of landscape designs, concepts, and masterplans
  • Producing drawings, reports and visualisations using software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
  • Assisting with site analysis, surveys, and LVIAs
  • Helping to prepare planning applications and supporting documents
  • Contributing to reports, design statements, and presentations
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, planners, and other consultants
  • Attending site visits, client meetings, and project reviews
  • Ensuring designs align with relevant regulations, policies, and sustainability standards


About You:

  • A degree (Bachelor’s or Masters) in Landscape Architecture or a related field
  • A solid understanding of landscape design      principles and relevant planning policies.
  • Experience and an understanding of working with AutoCAD and Adobe software. SketchUp is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills - visual, written, and verbal
  • Good organisation and time management
  • A team player who can also work independently when needed
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail
  • A desire to work towards professional chartership.
