Landscape Architecture — North West England
Early concept work to assess the feasibility of restoring the original approach and character of an existing golf course hole. The proposals seek to reinstate the design intent established when the hole was first constructed, using new landform to reshape the hole and restore its original dynamics.
Additional tree planting and ecological enhancements form an integral part of the proposals, strengthening habitat value while contributing to the visual character and identity of the hole. The design aims to balance the restoration of the course's historic character with opportunities to create a more engaging and distinctive experience for members.
