Landscape Architecture — Eccles
Landscape masterplan for an industrial site on Liverpool Road in Eccles. The proposals retain the existing trees, hedgerow and brick wall along Liverpool Road, strengthening the established boundary with additional evergreen planting to provide year round structure and screening.
Native trees and shrubs are introduced along the palisade boundary and acoustic bund to soften the visual impact of the development and create a stronger connection with the surrounding landscape. At the site entrance, an attenuation pond with marginal planting provides a landscaped focal point while contributing to the site's ecological and drainage strategy.
DAC provided services at planning, including the preparation of a landscape masterplan, hardworks layout and detailed planting plan.
