Landscape Architecture — Wirral
Landscape design for an SEN school on a former public house site on the Wirral. Key vegetation around the site perimeter is retained, providing an established green framework and a sense of enclosure to the new school environment.
The landscape adopts an organic approach, creating a safe, attractive and stimulating setting that supports a range of educational, social and sensory activities. A raised growing garden, outdoor classrooms, play equipment and outdoor musical features provide varied opportunities for pupils to learn, explore and interact with the landscape.
DAC provided services at planning stage of the project including the preparation of the landscape masterplan and detailed planting plans.
